Dr. Afaq A. Kazi is an interventional pain management specialist who is practicing pain medicine for the past 12 years. He earned his medical degree from Liaquat University of Health and Medical Sciences. He did his internship in surgery at Harbor UCLA and his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Barnes-Jewish hospital, Washington University School of Medicine in St Louis, MO.
Dr. Kazi did his fellowship in interventional spine at Cedar Sinai Institute of Spinal Disorder in Los Angeles, CA.
Dr. Kazi believes in comprehensive clinical approach with the chronic pain patients including physical therapy, medical management, behavioral therapy and interventional pain management. He has also developed interest in Regenerative Medicine and new cutting edge procedures like Platelet Rich Plasma Injection to treat degenerative joints.
Dr. Kazi recently moved to Dallas area from California.
Dr. Kazi is Board certified by American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and also American Board of Pain Medicine.
